REGISTRATION POLICIES

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received four weeks prior to the conference will receive a full refund less a $50 administrative fee. Cancellations received between four and one week out are entitled to a 50% refund, or 100% roll-over to the 2025 conference. Cancellations received within one week will not be refunded, except in the case of a medical emergency (including if you are required to isolate due to covid exposure). The transferring of a registration to a fellow HSMAI Chapter Board Leader and must be requested in writing. All cancellations and transfers must be submitted in writing to mandie.hart@hsmai.org & jenny.teeson@hsmai.org.

Confirmation

If you register online, you will immediately receive an electronic confirmation of your registration. If you faxed, mailed, or called in your registration and have not received a confirmation within 10 business days, please contact mandie.hart@hsmai.org.

SPEAKER BIO:

Peggy Hoffman is president of Mariner Management, an association management company which provides an array of support and training to associations as they engage members and staff in the work of the organization. Peggy draws on her team’s research on volunteerism, member communities and chapters, and association innovation in her training and counsel to dozens of global, national and local membership associations over the past 30 years.  Her team has conducted the association industry’s two key studies on volunteerism for ASAE, the association for associations, and developed two training ASAE training programs on managing volunteers for association staff. She holds the profession’s certification (CAE) and the designation of Fellow (FASAE).

Holly Zoba

Holly Zoba is a distinguished hospitality industry expert and entrepreneur with a passion for empowering businesses and individuals to achieve success.

With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, Holly began her career with Hospitality Partners in Washington, DC where she held multiple operations and sales roles including 10 years as the VP of sales and marketing for a hotel management company.

An early interest in all things digital led her to a sales role with Milestone Internet Marketing and later to becoming a full stack web application developer (MERN). She also spent several years as the SVP of Hospitality with Signature Worldwide Training where she learned the principles of adult learning and developed training programs with Best Western, Hilton, IHG, Smith Travel Research and Caesar’s Entertainment among others.

Today, Holly is the visionary behind Scout Simply and cofounder of HotelBSchool, a game-changing platform that provides full support, training, and resources for hospitality professionals.
