Research in Action

Research in Action logoHSMAI’s Research in Action program gives faculty members and researchers the opportunity to share their research with industry professionals and their peers.

Research in Action gives the selected presenters the opportunity to provide insights that offer applications and solutions to practitioners’ challenges of driving measurable short-term results while simultaneously keeping an eye on future developments and opportunities.

Presentations, while grounded in rigorous methods, should be geared to an industry audience with clear and demonstrable insights for sales, marketing, distribution, and/or revenue management practitioners.

The 2021 program will be virtual in an effort to provide wider access to both presenters and practitioners. In addition to the livestreamed event, presentations will be recorded and made available (along with extended abstracts) at HSMAI Insights providing long-lasting opportunities for faculty engagement.

All submissions will be peer reviewed.

If you have research you’d like to present, please submit an extended abstract (500-1000 words) to jjones@hsmai.org by September 1, 2021.
