Kristin Miodonski Named Executive Director of HSMAI Foundation Following CAE® Certification

McLean, VA (Aug. 14, 2025) – The Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International (HSMAI) Foundation is proud to announce the appointment of Kristin Miodonski as Executive Director. Miodonski, who had been serving as interim Managing Director, officially steps into the role following her recent achievement of the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential, awarded by the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) and recognized as the highest professional certification in the association industry.

Miodonski brings extensive experience in association leadership, with a proven track record of helping mission-driven organizations expand their reach, increase their relevance, and drive long-term impact. Known for her collaborative leadership style, strategic mindset, and focus on innovation, she is well-positioned to guide the Foundation in its mission to attract, develop, and retain talent in hospitality sales, marketing, and revenue optimization.

The CAE certification is awarded to individuals who demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and commitment essential to effective association management. Miodonski is one of just 129 professionals to pass the Spring 2025 exam and joins a distinguished group of more than 4,500 CAEs worldwide.

In addition to her role at HSMAI, Miodonski serves as Associate Vice President of Association Solutions at MCI USA and Executive Director of the Professional Development Consortium (PDC).
